泽无水，困，君子以致命遂志。
这是《周易》困卦大象辞。困卦由兑卦和坎卦组成，兑为泽，坎为水，兑上坎下，故称泽水困。
“泽水困”，上面是沼泽，水到了沼泽底下，就是水流光了，无水当然困，这便是困卦的一个象征。君子处困穷之乱世，则以献出己身，尽致己命，以达到杀身成仁，舍生取义的心志。
据说《象传》的作者是孔子，孔老夫子是儒家系统的代表。从“致命遂志”、“知其不可而为之”，再到“杀身成仁、舍生取义”，这是儒家一贯的思想，这个志愿就是仁义。儒家从来不会把“活着”视为生命中唯一可珍惜的，最重要的是一生中有没有完成某些志愿，而这个志愿不仅止于个人成就，而是为了成就大我。
