四柱命理学以唐代为起源，传承至今，仍有好多机械，死板，抠字眼论命的方法。而且流传越广，危害越大。
第一，好多命书提到十神宫位说，比如食神居年干，祖业丰隆，能得父母双亲助力。伤官居年柱，祖业凋零，自己比较聪明，事业主要靠自己付出等等。
其实，食神伤官只是一个阴阳正偏的不同，并不会给运势带来质的差异。如果死记硬背十神宫位，然后拿到具体命理套用，就犯了机械，僵化的毛病。
第二，阴差阳错婚姻不顺，命书规定了一些日柱组合为阴差阳错，只要有这种组合就断命主婚姻不好。
实际上，四柱论命论的是一个整体组合的吉凶，并非把某一柱单独拿出来考虑吉凶的。
所以看婚姻应该注意月令，时支与婚姻宫五行的生克关系，好坏作用。往这个方向研究，才能灵活批断。
并非背诵阴差阳错的组合，然后拿来套用。如果看机械记忆就可以断命准确的话，那咋们把阴差阳错日柱组合输入电脑程序里，电脑软件算命不就可以替代命理师行业了，可能吗？
第三，活木死木
《穷通宝鉴》里规定了，木天干坐土地支的一些干支组合。比如甲戌，甲辰，乙未，乙丑这类组合，要论地支给天干做根，天干木要分活木死木，地支土不能太干燥等等论调。
其实也是误导人的。
需知五行生克关系中，只有水是生木的，或者同类五行相帮。并没有哪条规定要用土生来扶木的。
这种取象论命的方法，违背五行生克基本原理。
天干的木是用神忌神，整体日元旺衰判定出来，根据它起好坏作用，自然可以分辨。无需你把这一柱单独拿出来论木有没有根气。如果纠结于此，你还怎么论命。军事理论有云，兵无常势，水无常形。
拘泥于死板机械的论命方法，绝不会成为高手。
第四，还有日坐羊刃也是扯淡，其实只有阳天干生在比劫的月份，才可以论羊刃。并非地支任何位置出现比劫，都可以拿来论刃的。比如日柱丙午生在子月，日元就往从弱方向考虑，不用管什么日坐羊刃不会弱的论法。
在日元旺衰中，月令始终是司令，占据主导地位。其他位置的地支即使是比劫，它也刃不起来。月令一个字通常占据整个八字70%以上的能量，掌握主导权。
第五，什么羊刃驾杀，壬骑龙背，伤官配印等等，都是抓住某些字眼就大谈易理，而不着眼命局的整体组合气势流通。如果长期拘泥于此，您的水平只能局限于此。
